Land Use

The Flint Hills Jeep Club fully supports responsible land use and is actively involved in efforts to ensure our resources are respected so that they remain available for our enjoyment.

We follow Tread Lightly principals, are a Tread Lightly Club Partner and have several qualified Tread Trainers. Tread Lightly

We also maintain a documented lead partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to maintain, improve and promote responsible use of the Tuttle Creek ORV Park. Through this partnership we have committed a minimum number of man-hours annually toward maintenance and improvement along with an annual fiscal contribution.

In 2023 the club became a Premium member of the Blue Ribbon Coalition.  The Blue Ribbon Coalition was founded in 1987 to champion responsible land use and to defend access to public lands for all recreationists by positively influencing the political and administrative processes. The club is actively involved with the Adopt-a-Trail program at Kansas Rocks Park, maintaining a large section of the park. In addition we typically make an annual fiscal contribution to maintain and improve the facility.
